In the not too distant past, some of us thought it would be better to negotiate with our enemy. To accept their gifts and promises that we would be spared and that our way of life would be protected. Other chose to fight.
In the end, the ones who fought and the ones who negotiated were wiped from this earth.
Our weapons have changed and what we are fighting for is different, but not as different as some may assume.
We are fighting for a way of life. We are fighting over a piece of “land” that we can control, where our individual belief systems are free to exist.
Peoples of the past fought and lost a war because they attempted to use force over an army as numerous as the leaves in the forest.
We must fight with the only weapon we have. Our ideas and our words. Freedom is a story that the masses will run towards and without the power of the majority, all of this is for not.
