Other easy options to get a Lightning address are Wallet of Satoshi, nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj79p99e5, and Getalby.

How was your experience of setting up the lightning address? What client do you use for Nostr? Just curious. This definately has to be hard for some new comers. Primal set up really made it easy for most now though.
For someone who really us somewhat technologically challenged, I found it to be pretty smooth to setup.
I was using Primal and found it to be super slow on my Android. Someone helped me shift to Amethyst today, and it's remarkably better!
If it helps I just turned 50 and was able to grasp it, but not without nostr:nprofile1qqst3ngp2vedlkm4p90aylpct67nfwyrxhpugpz0upd3aau7qdux8fqpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7czuwfm tutorial on YouTube. That was a big help for me and something anyone getting started should watch.
Lastly,.I usually follow Preston, Lyn, and Jeff Booth's leads so once they were all aboard, that was all I needed to be certain.
Amethyst is the best - it's what I use too. Primal works well too, not sure why it was so slow for you. It's good that you started with Primal, though, because you got the wallet set up. BTC Sessions is great; his videos walked me through a lot of things when I was getting started. Nostr keeps improving, and I hope that one day watching a video won't even be needed to get started - that's when we'll know we've really succeeded. Glad you found your way here.
