What was your initial intro to bitcoin? I’m curious about the paths people take until they “get” bitcoin and what hurdles there are for more people to join.
A friend and a colleague. The friend studied computer science and frenetically endorsed it as the greatest tech ever. The colleague was economist and said it was going up only. So pretty much what you’d expect.
I asked both “computers are useful particularly because data can be easily copied and shared. That would render a money useless though. How is this problem solved for these Bit Coins?”
They couldn’t answer my question and the moron I was went “well gfy then” and didn’t look at it for another 3 years. #DYOR folks
