Yesterday's Proof of Work – Chapter 5 Part II (How Problems Lead to Solutions)

We officially concluded Chapter 5 of the Bitcoin Diploma Course with an insightful and powerful session led by our respected Bitcoin Educator & Content Creator Jetty Nakamoto, the mind behind the Bitcrazy YouTube channel.

The class began with a quick recap of Chapter 5 Part I, revisiting key topics such as decreasing purchasing power, monetary inflation, and global debt burden. After the recap, Jetty smoothly guided us deeper into the core theme of Part II—the consequences of the fiat monetary system and the rise of visionary thinkers who sought change.

We were introduced to The Cypherpunks, a group of passionate cryptographers and privacy advocates, whose dream was to build a decentralized currency —one free from government control and manipulation. Jetty clearly distinguished between centralized and decentralized systems, helping students understand why decentralization matters in our digital age. We also explored the brief history of digital currencies, paving the way for the birth of Bitcoin.

The session was rich, interactive, and extremely valuable.
