Is pure empiricism not a psychological crutch?

Uncertainty ≠ pure empiricism. It’s literally the acknowledgment that no human (or being for that matter) understands the deeper realities of existence then confidently accepting that fact. It’s the only honest perspective.
Religions are man-made fictions that scared people delude themselves into believing to alleviate suffering associated with uncertainty.
