You're projecting your competence onto others. I would strongly advise against that. What they believe is what they perceive. Most people are full of shit and operate from the ego.

The truth can be crowd sourced these days. There’s always someone who sees you clearly.
The operative word there is "can", not "will".
The person who can see you clearly may not have you in their line of sight.
As for truth being crowd source-able, I would point out that truth does not proceed upon consensus. Science itself is testimony to moments in time in which one person was right and everyone else was way fuckin wrong.

And thats why there is no “Reality” we can have as a common base structure of life for us to all agree upon and reference. Because PERCEPTION IS REALITY, and there are a lot of different factors that go into each individual person’s perception.
All that is also part of the reason I, and most of us here probably, align with a more Mises and Austrian view of thinking when it comes to economics and “what is value” and “what is valuable”.
Maybe most people think they see through others, but that layer can be a facade, too, positioned so people intuit what they want to intuit.
I would say the people that see truly are a relative minority. If more people really saw the truth, bitcoin would be 👆. People would be prepping, making contingency plans for the formerly unthinkable. Purchasing habits will make it obvious. When liberals start thinking "maybe I do need a gun" search habits will show. But the time they decide they should buy, maybe they can, maybe rules get changed.
From here, the dissonance begins to crescendo.

I agree. Most people think they know, but what they think they know, at the end of the day, is still only imaginary in your head. You can’t see another persons thoughts and felt experiences. Their history and circumstances. So what you think you know is a tiny view of an enormous life picture. Obviously each situation is different, but when you see a perceived lie or a “tell” or whatever you sense or notice, its like looking into a keyhole to view a house.
I’m surprised that car dealerships still use the sales techniques that we all loathe. Don’t you know it’s annoying as shit??? Tell the truth.
