Reaching out to #plebs on #nostr for some guidance and advice related to retail management. I own a record label and we are looking to open a brick and mortar retail store/experience called Cannabis Records Social Club.
Vision first:
People are always striving for community. Music is a unifying thing across cultures and borders. So by creating a social club around music, we can foster a thriving community.
Most people only interact with music as a consumer of the final product. But what happens when you involve music lovers in the full creative process? Create an atmosphere where aspiring artists can gather, bounce ideas, cut demos, and produce music. They get instant feedback from the club members and listeners gain a feeling of pride and stewardship over the music and band since they were part of the creative process. This creates immense stickiness and loyalty from the consumers.
The club will have a retail store selling vinyl LPs/clothing/merchandise. It will have a stage for everything from open mics to full concerts by the bands under our label. There will season be a recording booth, a dispensary, and a smoking lounge.
No longer are music fans simply consumers of an end product but an integral part of the creation of a masterpiece.
That's the vision anyways... Here's the need:
Looking for any #nostriches with experience in retail/inventory management. SKU management software or anything related would be super helpful.
🚨 Also looking for a dev who might be interested in building an in-store app which has an integrated lightning wallet for customers and using nostr protocol for SKU management on a private relay.
Users who download our store app get store credit or "cashback" zaps on every purchase. The users can turn around and zap various interactive experiences in the store (using nfc?!). For example users can queue songs to be played in the store by zapping the in store jukebox. Lots of very exciting possibilities here.
Huge orange pill opportunity here. Membership to the social club costs (for example) $30/month. But as part of your membership, you get $10 worth of sats zapped to you every time. You can use those sats to buy day passes for your friends, to purchase merchandise in the store, etc. To the customer these familiarily feels like "store points". But they're actually ⚡️. Surprise - you're now a bitcoiner!

Looking to potentially integrate a private nostr relay for SKU/inventory management. Then connect up an AI to analyze sales trends and velocity to facilitate the open to buy / just in time inventory processes.
