Real, actual wealth as described in Genesis 32: 13-15

"and took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother;

14 Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams, 15 Thirty milch camels with their colts, forty kine, and ten bulls, twenty she asses, and ten foals."

that’s a lot of stuff

I hope he included some slaves to manage all that herd, too.

Jacob was a slave for the better part of his life. He had employees.

in biblical times a lot of what was described as slavery was just very serious contracts of service

the "slave" usually lived very well, had their own house and family, and ultimately did have the veto power over anything unreasonable

part of the proof of this is just look at how many times the word "servant" is used in place of slave

compare also the very concept of "lifetime employment" promises that many socialist governments gave to their servants... it's a lot similar... the deal is mutually beneficial, so the constraints are the necessary tradeoff

Agreed. The definitions of slave are very fluid throughout history.
