Years ago I tried to convince a guy on Tinder he should go to FetLife. He really wanted someone to peg him. I still don’t know why I carried on a conversation with him. I just didn’t want him to feel shamed. I hadn’t learned to just say, “not my kink” and move it along.

Weirdly he actually seemed sweet just had no idea how to go about finding a partner who aligned sexually. I’ve met so many people in the kink community who discuss their kinks at dinner parties with people they barely know. So I’m just like whatever. I’m one of those people who strangers or near strangers love to disclose things to. I’ve learned it’s up to me to protect my boundaries when I’m not able to make space for that.
Hinge I would say is definitely more date-y if that makes sense.
