If Apple wants a cut of the zaps, then they need to run their own lightning node, record the price of Bitcoin for every zap they receive, and deal with the tax nightmare they’re subjecting themselves to by accepting Bitcoin as a "payment"

Apple would have to also police iMessages to make sure no one is sends Bitcoin addresses and monitor FaceTime communication to make sure no one is displaying bolt11 or lnurl qr codes too đź‘€
