The divide between good & evil:

prioritization of status & power vs

prioritization of truth, understanding, & consistency.

So much of the Covid nonsense is wrapped up in this. Arguments from authority indicate a prioritization of status & power. Advocating “trusted” or “official” sources indicate a prioritization of status & power. Promoting arbitrary political power over others indicates a prioritization of status & power. Promoting censorship indicates a prioritization of status & power.

Even complying with mandates, or “just doing my job,” when one knows something isn’t right, is prioritizing social status over acting in accordance with what one knows to be true.

There’s nothing but self control in understanding. Society basically has a personal boundaries problem.
