I just leave my fees at one sat
How often do you get transactions?
I think that's for routing. Like you get paid when your peers route through you. Lowers the fees the more likely your node will get used. Also capacity is considered . I'll open a channel to you to make your node more usable

Here is the current fee list. I think this is super low.
Another thing, I added Funding to a Channel and 310,204 sats is stuck in a Pending Block Confirmations state and I think I am out of money because its been a few days. I closed the channel today, and this still shows
Opening and closing channels takes on chain fees. Most choose low fees (sometimes its auto set by software) to save money so It can take hours or days to complete .
