It would be really useful if Proton VPN had a feature that randomly selects an IP location and automatically switches it at regular intervals, similar to how Tor works. Right now, users have to manually choose their location, which stays the same throughout the connection. It's weird they haven't implemented this yet. Does other VPNs have this feature?

Should be really simple to implement something like that. I don't see it in Mullvad on desktop.

Not that I’m seeing but they should. I would like to see this feature on Mullvad as well.

Randomly switching would interrupt your session and could force you to sign out of certain websites and apps. That could create a problem depending on what you’re doing like if you are updating a document and then you lose connection and lose your progress. Proton vpn has a random connection button. Just click it every few days.

I've tested changing my VPN location and saw no problems. Unless the user is gaming or livestreaming, it won't be a problem. This should be an optional feature still.

I agree it should be a feature

Proton VPN does not have a random connection button.

It definitely does. I’ve used it many times. Check under profiles.

This 'Fastest country' option? It's not random.

No. Is this android?

Yes.

This is on iOS. It’s also an option on windows PC.

I don't use iOS spyware neither Windows spyware...

Do you happen to know for how long you've got that feature? Maybe the Android version is behind in development...

Over a year

Unfortunately no random timer, but it does randomize when you turn it off and on.
