It’s just an ignorance of bitcoin. Two things I learned when I was a shitcoiner.
1: they all know the dollar is a sinking ship and will jump to any other ship.
2: shitcoins happen to be the closest and biggest ship.
Bitcoin is there but it gets lost amongst the other boats and until they put in the work to find it they will be lost.
We can help them find it.
I try this quite often with scams in general. I’ve found that in every scam scenario, the only justification I can make in their shoes is whatever can protect my ego. In other words it’s all cope because you’re too cowardly to admit that you’ve made a mistake and been scammed.
