No one should expect privacy at work. Employees are using equipment that is owned by a company. Given the toxic, passive aggressive corporate work environment of today, employers should be wary of any employee trying to cause trouble, or otherwise exhibit any behavior that doesn't obey, conform, and reinforce the company's mission.

All the more reason to be self employed, an entrepreneur, freelancer, or the like.
