Then use it for a nostr client!

The Twitter name is the most valuable aspect of the platform. Most people still refer to it as Twitter (or Xitter), and I doubt Elon would sell even though he hates it when people use that name. I think he'd be highly suspicious of Dorsey's motives, and would refuse the offer.

His point is accurate-

But Nostr has "notes" which should very much replace the corporate-branded "tweet."

A note can be short or long.

A note can have images or not.

A note is brand-less.

Keeping "tweets" alive is just suggesting that a company was better at giving a pet name to notes.

Notes don't need branded pet names.

Notes are eternal.

But the "tweet" did not come from Twitter itself. One of the clients started using it. I don't remember which one. Twitter appropriated it later when it became popular

I suppose the added benefit of re-approriating tweets is that this would be TOSTR 🍞😂

I love it

Hank should buy the Twitter brand...

Hank is a soyboy and should come to Nostr
