People are celebrating over on Twatter about the "No CBDC" line item within the Executive Order today. I think it's a farce.
Fully believe they'll simply outsource it to stablecoin issuers and in exchange for being able to operate in US they'll have to agree to a surveillance sharing agreement. Then they also get US Treasury buyers out of the deal.

it's the fascism way, and USA federal government is 100% fascist... FDA, USDA... medicare, every last bit of what the fed does is about sweet deals for corporate partners
