Replying to Avatar existing sprinkles

Meant to start this November Art Color Challenge. This is my study of RED.

I am fascinated by the subsurface scattering of light that you can see in hands. I was hoping to capture that and I only needed 4 colors! 2 reds one orange and one white (if you count that as a color).

Nicely done! 👍 The translucency of human skin is a bit freaky to me; make me feel less solid.

Haha thanks. I find it fascinating.

Its not that we are less solid, its that our skin is pretty complex and doesn't behave like other materials.
