I still do a lot of photoshopping by hand, but AI image generators are getting so good that I feel it will be unneeded soon. That will just give me more time to learn other stuff. I think people thought the same about Photoshop initially too. Probably even painters vs photography when that happened.

I think the key is using your imagination, and your critical eye for the end product. That's the difference between something good, and slop.
