Yesterday I tried to swap some LN BTC for #Monero at exch. There LN BTC swap didn't work for me, don't know why. So I did a swap from LN BTC over Boltz to an on-chain address at exch for Monero. But I didn't receive the Monero to my wallet till now. And what's even worse I didn't save the order ID or bookmarked the site. I guess funds are lost. Fingers crossed their support can help.

Pro tip: Always save your order ID if you use a centralized service and you want to have the slightest chance to get your funds back.

Doesn't Cake wallet do atomic swaps with btc/monero?

In a way yes, but is using 3rd party services like changeNow or trocador (which also uses other 3rd parties)

I'm not a Mpnero freak, so I bow to your knowledge 👍🇬🇧

Thanks, but you don’t have to, just check on nostr:npub1j9qyxka5lck4tw50v7qfrs6gdwczz5ydt7ugqy6nhuva9p6dpy5q8rs2yg or monero.com -> exchange -> providers

When they implement lightning this could become my go to swap solution

Lol no. An atomic swap doesn't have a third party. You either swap the peer or you don't.

As I said, I'm not into monero and haven't used Cake. So I was just pointing someone in that direction bruv

You were surfing the wave, weren’t you?

Could have used bisq?
