Not everything needs MCP so I think thats a good choice.

And man what is MCP a shit protocol. Weve been adding support to our AI UI and the standard sucks.

Its capable of proper HTTP endpoints. Except because it was introduced by claude desktop almost nothing correctly implements it. Its all stdio and if it is http its cors blocked.

Now we gotta use our AI backend as middleware just to bridge it since the UI is just a static html page.

They should have made cors free http the default so it can actually be properly used remotely.
