WHO KNEW that international vacation planning would include scanning potential locations “misinformation laws” to ensure that…while living in the USA where you have freedom of expression…you didn’t violate another country’s ridiculous censorship laws on your social media…while NOT BEING in their country…only to be arrested when traveling there.

Dude the world is becoming a Shitcoin. I just had this conversation with my family, many of whom applied for Italian citizenship. And, as a Sicilian-American, I considered it. But, as an American, my conclusion is that I am not going to shitpost for fear of being arrested when I go on vacation having "consented" to their laws by citizenship. My in-laws don't understand, but maybe they will.
This dynamic literally blows my mind, wouldn’t have ever thought I’d have to worry about things like this!
