Agree. Mesh is pretty consumer, and most of those brands have issues.

Can you run just enough Ethernet to use APs instead? Ubiquity is def a good choice in that case.

Only have a single Ethernet port but can use Ubiquiti products to setup multiple extenders which is basically the same thing as mesh anyway.

I definitely would. The admin interface takes a bit of exploring, but there is a lot of power there, and pretty solid security. I’d get this to start with:

I've used these to setup a campground with wifi, worked quite well. 1 ethernet, the rest was mesh network.

If you use these without a Ui console, they can still operate in dumb mode correct?

Yeah, you just need the Unifi Server UI running on a PC for setup & management, it doesn't need to run all the time.
