been thinking this for a while
Love the suggestion - what’s the need to view the entire string? Are the leading and trailing 6 not sufficient? Please keep the good feedback coming!
The addresses are so unique the likelihood of the first 6 and last 6 being identical on a different address is so astronomically small it’s considered more than safe to not show the complete string.

in the spirit of don‘t trust verify I like to compare the whole string. It’s unlikely but possible my copy of the address to reveal gets compromised. Low probability but it doesn’t feel right not to be able to view it on the client
