To all the people in the comments saying I’m being

- overly emotional

- divisive

- jumping to conclusions

The fact that I’ve been vulnerable enough to show emotion the last few days does not take away from my objectivity.

I still sift and discard information I don’t think is true. I am happy to be corrected, and I will admit when wrong, but I’m not going to cower from speaking the truth.

What i said below is true.

If you can’t see that now it will become more evident to you in the days and weeks ahead.

You won’t owe me anything when that happens, but I hope you can shy away from the comfort of delusion and admit it to yourself.

Because the truth is paramount.

I don’t know you well HODL but I see that you have a nice life and are authentic in your wrestling with the challenges of life. You are a support to other young men & women wrestling with very similar curve balls this world throws. I would encourage you not to fall into the cesspool of partisan extremist politics. Please clean out your social’s feeds and touch grass. Take your family on a vacation. Grab a copy of The Brothers Karamazov and decide for yourself whether you’ll choose the way of man or the way of grace.

Those itching for a civil war have no idea the common misery they are asking for. Our global adversaries are working overtime to drive a wedge between us all and for us to destroy ourselves from within.

Killing others is not the answer. Do you honestly think that Jesus would be advocating for retribution? How did he respond to Satan during his temptation?

You’re projecting a lot of things onto me that I never said. Obviously I don’t believe in retributive violence or extreme partisanship. Nor am I calling for a civil war or anything of the sort.
