In for socks too, especially if I can get them with a wide toe box. My Darn Toughs are great but “sport fit” is basically just fancy talk for “toe crusher” 😅
I tried to find 100% cotton socks on Amazon and the best I could find was 90% polo socks.
The elastic is considered part of the percentage.

I would love to buy handmade socks by a nostrich, but my experience is that goldtoe ankle high wool socks are the most durable. Smartwool and other high-wool content socks get holes in the bottom in only a few months, but goldtoe hold up for years. They have synthetic materials for increasd durability but still have enough wool to keep them from collecting body odors.
