Couple quick repair jobs...
1994 Chris Craft Concept with 4.3 litre V-6 waterpump replacement... too easy.
2007 Chrysler 300c 5.7 litre Rack and Pinion replacement. Original was binding both sides of center... once again, too easy.

Hey I have that same engine on an I/O. The boat power steering is floppy at low speeds, I think a bearing or ball joint needs to be replaced. Is this a huge deal?
Haven't had an issue with the steering on this boat... I think the steering rack is behind the engine... most likely will have outer and inner tie rod ends where the sloppiness stems from...
Ill take a closer look, and will report back.

Not sure if the kimbal bearing can cause that issue... However, both areas will firm up on acceleration due to prop torque...
Thanks ill try to take a video of the motion in that area and see if theres any obvious slop, wont be able to for a few weeks, but better to look at it before its in the water
