Alex, you are quoting someone who is a regime’s pawn in the defender of people’s clothing.

I do not blame you for this mistake. I used to think he is a pro-liberty rapper until very recently.

They are burnt pawns for us, but there might be some ambiguity about them abroad.

The regime in Iran brought this war upon us and Tehran is highly unsafe due to the fact that many important military facilities are there.

We won’t let the regime use us as a human shield!

You have to be kidding me. He was jailed by the regime! And on death row.

He’s not the first. Babak Zanjani was also on death row.

Akbar Ganji was once our hero for exposing regime killings and we were worried about him every time he went on a food strike in regime’s prisons. Dr. Soroush was called a kafir by clerics for his Quran interpretations, hence making killing him not a “sin”.

But when it mattered most, both echoed regime propaganda. We’ve seen this pattern before. Ganji and Soroush betrayed us—Toomaj may just be the latest scheme.
