It was effectively a "monetary miracle". The author was Hjalmar Schacht, Hitler's central banker. He issued monetary instruments for each unit of labour performed (non-inflationary). The key takeaway is that “fiat money creation” is not inherently bad and inflationary, but it depends on whether it is used for productive investment (non inflationary) or for consumption (inflationary).
