While I like the appeal of switching to someone else’s account in read-only mode and absorb their timeline and experience their digital identity.
However, On the other hand, It feels invasive and not so privacy friendly. I get that DMs are inaccessible but still the rest of it feels quite invasive. This is a feature as well as an issue in my understanding.

It's not possible to remove that feature.
And its not any different to other platforms. Only that it is limited to their employees and much more opaque for the user
A private following list would solve the timeline part.
I am aware of that fact, It was just an observation on the nostr ecosystem. When I posted that note, I meant to start a conversation on how we can shape the culture around assuming non-actionable public identities.
