I am aware of that fact, It was just an observation on the nostr ecosystem. When I posted that note, I meant to start a conversation on how we can shape the culture around assuming non-actionable public identities.
Are you available on DMs? Wanted to ask you a quick question.
What do you think? nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s nostr:npub1melv683fw6n2mvhl5h6dhqd8mqfv3wmxnz4qph83ua4dk4006ezsrt5c24 nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z
While I like the appeal of switching to someone else’s account in read-only mode and absorb their timeline and experience their digital identity.
However, On the other hand, It feels invasive and not so privacy friendly. I get that DMs are inaccessible but still the rest of it feels quite invasive. This is a feature as well as an issue in my understanding.

There’s a reason why they are centralised in the first place.
Decentralisation for big social media will just be a dream and the only thing which might have ground in reality is going to be interoperability which in itself is politicised. For instance, the boycott of threads by mastodon instances. nostr:note125u5ac8y9ttz7yjy7jpduythm3a3y57q6nwqng4dj027gvcp00yq28xfzf
We need nostr campaigns to diversify discussions.
Pardon me but the idea of NIP-05 itself is derived from mastodon/fediverse. No?
I wanted to originally quote nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s‘s screenshot of the desktop version of Damus but I accidentally reposted it and now apparently I can’t neither undo that action nor quote the same note which I reposted. Weird.
Anyways, having said that. HOLY SMOKES! the desktop version looks so much refined and polished than the mobile version. Hoping for the mobile design to get more polished, beautiful and cohesive. nostr:note105u2yqavtnlduyjsf8zqzd002gdnt09vy8arp4redxm8unjmtn6sgyq26s
Apologies to jack for the unrelated ping!

Loving nostr so far. Thanks to nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m for introducing this platform. I have lurked here for a quite a while and this is what I have observed about the platform:
The implementation of protocol has some flaws which should iron out with natural progression and when the entire nostr nostr ecosystem starts maturing.
We’re still at a nascent stage.
Moreover, inducing non-meta, diverse and organic discussions should be prioritised.
