Non-Christians seem to be able to really enjoy sin. I don't think a #Christian really can. They might in the moment, but afterwards there is sorrow...

I have my doubts. Sin makes us all miserable. Christianity explains why we're miserable and what to do about it.

Sin does have it's consequences, whether the person doing it is a Christian or not, for sure. I just don't think a non-Christian is bothered by their sin the way a Christian is. Many non-Christians will deny there is even such a thing as "sin", though I believe they really know there is and they are just rationalizing it away to excuse their behavior. Once a non-Christian begins to show remorse over their sin they are now at the threshold of repentance and even being born again, such that they are no longer a non-Christian.

Truth

Yep! When you find yourself justifying a behavior it's because that behavior is separting yourself from God.

Lol. No. You should meet more chriatians. It seems like their mentality is that it's better to ask forgiveness than not do it. 90% of the awful people I know are christians. They even then go out of their way to tell you about how being gay is sin, but they commit every other sin. Most of them are hypocrites

Non christians limit their consequences to this life, so you are not caught, you win. Christians know you will always get caught and the victim of your sin will know.

....

I guess according to this note and replies, there is only one type of christian and only one type of non christian.

Now thats critical thinking!

Of course not, but you have to be able to make some generalizations. I'm sure Muslims think about sin very differently than athiests. And Sunni and Shia Muslims probably have their own differences.

And Protestants think about it differently than Catholics. And Calvinists differently than Lutherans. And on, and on until you get to individual people. That nuance is important, but in this case it mostly just muddys the waters.

well thats convenient for lumping a group of people into one bucket lol

once again, the replies here are quite black and white thinking.

nostr:npub1mt8x8vqvgtnwq97sphgep2fjswrqqtl4j7uyr667lyw7fuwwsjgs5mm7cz doesnt even know what it means to be Christian or non-christian lol

I'll bite. Why do you say that nostr:npub16jknkmh2luflurx2epkj99qyj7v2ut3ew7t2mfd7xxt9jtjku2nsj2gqp0? And do you profess to be a Christian?

OOOOOF! Easy with the assumptions there sharky! Nobody was professing anything lol already starting on the wrong foot... just an observer here ;-)

I wasn't assuming you're a Christian or not; I was just asking you what you profess. And also asking why you say that I don't know what it means to be Christian or non-Christian?

Because you lumped all off them into one group.

There are two types of people in the world:

the saved (Christians), and the lost (non-Christians). It's black and white; binary. What is confusing about that?
