Is low zap usage since Damus update a surprise to anyone? Shouldn’t be. Unless it’s there, people won’t use it. Sad to say zapple pay will not fix this in any meaningful way unless it’s integrated into the client in settings or something.

Remember when we had to use astral.ninja to have a pfp? Zapple Pay is much easier than that. I don’t think it will be a problem, and Carman is doing a great job adding features

Yeah , I’m not a get alby user , and I can’t come up with a way to use the extension I use .. I don’t necessarily zap less though , though I zap differently … less spontaneous but higher sat values ,, but sadly , not using Damus ,, less I get my exitension working ..

It can’t be integrated into the app, that’s the whole reason it exists. The connection setup UX in Zapple Pay could be improved though with a seamless “Connect Wallet” button which generates a NWC url. Not sure how to get the user’s nostr pubkey yet without copying it though 🤔
