Although they are “valid”, ordinals on Bitcoin really do feel like a mistake

Yes i am aware of how retarded this sounds

Taproot is to blame

Looks that way..🤔

Maybe transmute them into something useful if they aren’t going away? Use the tool for something meaningful for humanity

Love where you’re coming from but no

In that case

Yes. If I have the option I will not support them on my node, but the options don't seem ironed out yet.

Most virtuous nodes would not support them. So why do we still have them? How do we get rid of them? And how do we make sure this doesn't happen again?..🤔😠

I will wait for the noise to calm down so I can find the signal. No need to rush it 🙂

I think we have to be aggressive, but careful. We're going to have to be more restrictive and protective of block space to try and repair this damage..😐

I don't code so I will leave that to those who do. Next year I plan to learn.

Once I am educated enough to get involved in the argument I may speak up.

There's no better time to learn how to code than today. But if I were you I would first focus on what AI💎 and AGI💎 can do for you, and teach you.

Learn how to use the coding assistance and API's effectively. Learn how to analyze your code and extrapolate outcomes and consequences..👏👍🧡😊

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to start by learning python basics and working through the programming bitcoin book. I will definitely leverage AI as well

They're not "valid", they're a destructive exploit..😠

Nah It’s an exploit of a loophole. I don’t see any need for us to look at them as valid. It was a mistake that needs to be fixed. Time get the kooks off the chain ⛓️ 🙅‍♂️

I think a lot of this is a confluence of multiple factors that are probably temporary. We will probably soon see bad actors agitating for a fork away from Core, because forks are the best, few known ways to divide bitcoiners and increase the probability of expanding the attack surface.
