Germany has underrated food.
Discussion
Not the Germany I've been too π Bratkartoffel and fried seafood, or currywurst... (Only been in northern Germany) I mean it's not bad food but I would call it appropriatelyrated π
The best food I've had in Germany is kebab π€£
Where am I going wrong?
True. But that is not high cuisine.
Well, in dΓΆner's defense: German kebab is definitely the world's best kebab. π₯
It's the equivalent of London's curry and San Francisco's sushi, where the adaptation surpasses and popularizes the original.
I've only had really excellent food in Hamburg or Berlin restaurants, and I've traveled to both, regularly. Culinary highlights.
Also, I love Bratwurst. π Especially, the little, raw NΓΌrnberg-style ones that our butcher makes fresh for Christmas Eve.
