1st experience with Jam was Great!

Inc regular miner fee (high priority Sat/vb), my total fee cost was 1.68% of my balance for an 8 collaboration transaction straight into Cold Storage💪

Obviously most of this fee was the regular transaction fee so a Low/Med mempool priority would have lowered the cost further, but for my first time, wanted it done fast.

SUMMARY

- 2 minutes to leave Jam Balance

- 16 minutes for first mempool confirmation

- 1.68% total transaction fee (Jam collaboration+Miner fee)

⚠️ Don’t use the Sweep Feature, it’s experimental for a reason I guess - I tried it for science & got burned 🥵

Thanks for sharing. I want to try Joinmarket, and Jam seems more user-friendly.

Start off small

Use just 1 Jar

Send it back out using a collaborative transaction

Also, check your fee settings as it can get extremely costly on those default fees

I think I used 1000 sat max per collaborator as the order book seems to show most set their fees at 0-1000 sats
