I’ve learned that Nostr is a great outlet to release energy too, because it’s uncensorable and decentralized. Can say whatever you want and how you are feeling. We’re all in this together. Where the forces in power want to divide and conquer, we band together on the Nostr protocol even though we are all starkly different.

It’s also a great way to make connections, share information, and buy goods and services. Most of all I’m excited by all the growth I’ve seen here. In terms of people and the capabilities of the protocol -which stems from it being open source and able to be built upon by anyone.

In for the giveaway. Nostr feels better to use. My brain doesn’t feel like it’s swelling like when I’m on other social networks. I’ve learned to zap for anything, even a comment that is valuable. How can Nostr improve? It needs a marketplace like Facebook’s. FB marketplace is extremely powerful, and keeps a lot of my generation (millennials) on it.

It's taken me a while to understand how to use nostr but what I love is the small businesses. I just remade this account after losing my keys and I think I get it now. I like having ownership of it, and there isn't enough true ownership of things in this world. Bitcoin and Nostr gave me back pieces of freedom I didn't know I had lost.

People are more willing to engage in healthier ways here.

Nostr doesn’t attack my senses like typical social media platforms do. Every discovery on here feels organic and serendipitous because I have to actively find what I’m looking for. I don’t think any algo should be forced on users from any client but optionality and transparency makes algos more utilitarian and less predatory. A Facebook marketplace addition would skyrocket Nostr’s use case outside of censorship resistance circles. Anywho. Have a good day fam. Y’all make Nostr so much fun for me.

More small businesses on nostr- I love it. I first explored nostr to get away from the algorithm that was sucking all my time away from me. Here, I don’t have that problem and get to support small companies directly with sats- love it.
