Very few

“The Gospel is a harsh document; the Gospel is ruthless and specific in what it says; the Gospel is not meant to be re-worded, watered down and brought to the level of either our understanding or our taste. The Gospel is proclaiming something which is beyond us and which is there to stretch our mind, to widen our heart beyond the bearable at times, to recondition all our life, to give us a world view which is simply the world upside-down and this we are not keen to accept.”

– Metropolitan Anthony Bloom

I like everything he says, but he never says what the gospel is.

And it's simple. It only takes a few sentences.

God came to earth as Christ, fully man, fully God, and bled and died on a cross to pay the price for all the sins of humanity. And all one must do is accept that sacrifice to enter his kingdom. From this, the redeemed will begin to show fruit and do good in the world. Yet, their salvation is only by the blood.

This truth will stretch you, and it is more than you can imagine, but it is also simple.
