No technical details were presented this time. Might not be multimodal. The information I saw in Elon's autobiography. Optimus' brain should use Tesla's supercomputer Dojo. Dojo's training method is to convert the training data by storing a large amount of video data, then use the neural network to process these data, and quickly determine the next steps of the robot. This is how Tesla's FSD is trained. Optimus Prime should be the same training method. Especially after the appearance of ChatGPT in 2023, the FSD team replaced the manually written driving rule code with the Transformer architecture. FSD gets a qualitative leap. This feeling is also reflected in the perfect fusion of Optimus Prime's excellent body language and speech.
The robots walking was AI but for this presentation the voice and some of the gestures were “human assisted”. Either way it shows us a glimpse into the not too distant future! No doubt this will be the biggest product of all time.
