Had a crazy day yesterday. I broke my arm in the morning, then I got back from the E.R. and I found my dog writhing in pain. I scooped him up and took him to the vet. They told me he had a brain tumor that was causing him severe nerve pain. I made the decision to put him down.

Then I got home and told the kids what happened. They cried and i held them. The whole time i just thanked God for everything that was happening that day. And I felt calm all day.

I was genuinely grateful to god for the broken arm because it could have been much worse. Thankful for the years we had with our dog.

Thankful I was able to comfort our children. It was honestly a beautiful experience.

Life is simply better when you trust God and his plan for you.

A bunch of Bitcoin startups I’ve invested in are on the Bitcoin standard where they’ve kept BTC in their treasury.

As of late, I’ve been getting actively involved in public Bitcoin Treasury companies.

I participated in the private placement of Matador, the largest Canadian Bitcoin Treasury Company, my friends Sunny Ray and Mark Moss are part of that company, and I’ve recently joined David Bailey as an advisor to the company.

My goal is to get Matador using multi institutional self custody and steer them towards bitcoin maximalism.

I’ve also invested along with Adam Back and UTXO into H100, the largest Bitcoin Treasury Company in Sweden.

There’s a few more treasury companies I’m getting involved with that I probably can’t disclose yet.

I think Bitcoin Maximalists should be taking advisory seats and board positions of these companies so we can impart our long term thinking, strong hands and risk management tendencies in the board rooms of these bitcoin vacuum corps.

If we get involved, we can help prevent the over-leveraging that so many are afraid of, and we can have a hand at ushering in a decade long bull market - the Orange Rush.

Feeling reflective today.

It’s wild that this is my life.

I make wine on the property I grew up on and sell it by shitposting alongside My People on the internet.

None of this was planned.

At 25, I was floundering. I knew I needed to start something and bet on myself, but had no idea what.

My dad made wine as a hobby. One day he suggested I start a winery. I’d never made wine before, but I said fuck it and started Peony Lane.

That first year, I had no product to sell and hated the job I had. My dad wanted to build a house, so now I live in one that he and I built together.

When I moved home to do that, I lived with a friend who just happened to be a Bitcoiner. I was already into personal finance, and he pulled me down the rabbit hole. He also got me on Twitter, by always knowing everything before I did.

Serendipitously, when my first wine was ready, I happened to be dating a graphic designer. She designed my first labels and built the Peony Lane brand. Today, my labels are made by my best friend from high school.

Twitter started out as a way to learn more about Bitcoin. Then Bitcoiners started buying my wine.

Now, more than half my sales are in Bitcoin.
