It provides an attractive front end for all the movies nostr:nprofile1qqsfasrca7w2x8smmwuhzawau89sp0ulwgj7da3zenydxees9c3qf9cpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj783tk3s and myself have been posting to Nostr, making it a lot easier to browse what is available.

You can also post new films yourself!

Archive.org has many films available.

A quick how to:

🔹Sign into kinostr.com with your Nostr account.

🔹Search "your_movie archive.org" in your favorite search engine.

🔹Once you find it, under the archive.org download options click "show all"

🔹Copy the MP4 link for the movie and paste it into kinostr.com

🔹Provide a cover image too, themoviedb.org is a great source with lots of fan sourced images.

🔹Click "Publish Film" and it will post a note with your movie and add it to kinostr.com

Alright. I can adjust the inputs to also accept YouTube and render YouTube videos. My main concern is that there wont be any nice cover images and it will ruin the visual appeal of the website. I know that may sound dumb, but it’s a top priority for me on kinostr.com

One way around this is to generate a movie poster from a video scene via one of the ai tools. It works pretty well for the most part I think.

I see some of the YouTube stuff doesn’t have a cover image. Any chance you guys can create one with the ai tools when adding?

Maybe take a scene from video and paste it into one of the tools and say create a movie / documentary poster from this scene
