Imagine "trezor knots edition" etc. more mining pools competing with ocean for hashrate. 2- very interesting point about the "costly punishment" concept. Quite soon miners will need to make the decision between the cost of running filters and the cost of not running filters. 3-the onus is somehow on the folks not running filters and advocating for the removal of filters. They have the market share now and they will for the immediate future. Some highly controversial txs will be occuring. Can they show the market that these controversial txs are not harmful and offer some benefit to the network. I'm on pins and needles.
