Buying a used tractor does have its quirks. With only 180hrs on it the, it's practically brand new. Im facing an issue with stalling intermittently. I decided to do a full maintenance PM with fresh oil/filter, new fuel filters (2), air filter, transmission fluid/filter and grease all the zerks. After taking the stage 1 fuel filter off i dumped the contents into an old coffee can and discovered it was pretty full of sand (figures when you buy a tractor in Texas).
After getting it all back together I started it up and she sounded a lot better. After about 15 minutes of driving around, it started to stall again. Grrrr. Time to inspect the fuel tank for more sand. Hopefully the fuel pump isn't going already.
