I mean it is assembly of a sort...
Apparently knitting languages differ by country, my mum is always "translating" patterns 😂
There can be a lot of different words in it if you're not just making a basic square or rectangle, lol. Crochet is worse because a single crochet stitch is a double crochet stitch depending on if you're using American terms or English terms 😂.
My mum does crochet 😂 it's called knitting here regardless of method (kinit, crochet even weaving use the same word) so my poor Japanese mum is like "I can't knit in English"

Hey, that's another product idea 🤔 instead of just selling the things you make, you can sell a deciphering book for those who want to try themselves 😃
Verypink knits and Nimble Needles already did that 😂. They both have really good video tutorials on basically everything knitting. I really do want to get on hivetalk and do a knitting sesh though.
