The reason most people stopped listening to him is because of his support for ETH back in the day. Also I dont agree with his argument. Essentially summarized to:
'if we allow devs to determine what to put in the code we can open ourselves up to censorship.'
Devs are writing both node implementations and the knots side simply doesn't want a change imposed upon them. The competition of having multiple node implementations is a good thing imo. Run what you want.
Also that dig on the Bible was incredibly pointed. Guy's got a major chip on his shoulder against Jesus, Luke (who put Bible quotes in the blockchain), or both. Either case it's personal.
