The reason most people stopped listening to him is because of his support for ETH back in the day. Also I dont agree with his argument. Essentially summarized to:
'if we allow devs to determine what to put in the code we can open ourselves up to censorship.'
Devs are writing both node implementations and the knots side simply doesn't want a change imposed upon them. The competition of having multiple node implementations is a good thing imo. Run what you want.
Also that dig on the Bible was incredibly pointed. Guy's got a major chip on his shoulder against Jesus, Luke (who put Bible quotes in the blockchain), or both. Either case it's personal.
Andreas is right. And so are you; run what you want.

"Already said garbage" is great.
First time I have ever doubted Andreas points.
Yes the power to censor is dangerous.
But 99.99% about the Bitcoin protocol is leaving out what it isn't.
Leaving out the right stuff and including the right stuff is key.
Leaving garbage out is good.
So don't say you don't know.
If you don't know don't touch the code and if you don't know especially don't add things you don't understand or know the impact of.
It's not easy.
Don't fix what ain't broken.
It's a payment system / money.
Let other things be tested in the shitcoin field.
If a real addition and needed and proven we can think about it...
