Bitcoin (and gold) are actually kind of boring topics because they're commodities and just sit around, doing nothing, but people freak out about them, all the time, so they seem exciting.

Hard money is actually really dull. πŸ˜‚

Dull is good in terms o money. It gives a stable platform exciting, crazy, and sometimes outright dumb creative enterprises.

Like, I'm celebrating because round numbers are fun, but nothing actually happened. Bitcoin is still just sitting there, ticking along, and someone someplace spent a bit more fiat for a chunk of it.

Only really exciting Bitcoin thing I've experienced was the move of the miners from China, and that was a nothingburger. Oh, some people moved some computers. πŸ₯±

I mean, that's why I like it. I prefer my money boring. Money should be a pet rock, that I can break chunks off and spend.

I was just thinking about this, yesterday, while everyone was freaking out and interrogating me about my Crazy Internet Money because I explained it in a couple of sentences and they kept asking about the same things, over and over, because they couldn't believe that that was the whole thing.

But, that's the whole thing. It's just this thing. Gold is money backed by chemistry and Bitcoin is money backed by energy, everything else isn't really backed, and that's the entire thing.

"people" ahem ;)

dull things are needed in order to live

I love this.

I love my boring digital pet rock. His name is Frinchard. Just to make him more exciting.

My digital pet rock is named Tom.

It's actually an undercover exciting name because it's short for "Tomahawk".

It's a secret 🀫. Sh...

Everyone just knows him as "Ugh, can you stop talking about your stupid Bitcoin for five minutes?!", but I call him "Tom", for short.

This is my favorite. I like Tom, he's a great pet rock.

As long as we are in the number go up phase, the usefulness of bitcoin is actually greatly deminished. Money is more usefull when it is stable in purchasing power.
