Ok, I'll eat my words. I genuinely thought Trump would free Ross today. Maybe I am naive. Maybe an optimist. In either case, I was looking forward to watching the rest of his presidency with detachment, following my first vote since Ron Paul.

Had to lower my time preference a little bit. This feels surreal! I am so happy for him and his family.
I had saved a whole bunch of messages of those who said he would never do it over the years/months, but instead of being vindictive and in light of my comments below, I think it better to just celebrate this moment.
"Don't join a cult" but I cast a vote based on a gut feeling of Trump following through. Glad I did, and glad I played a part.
