Good work 👍

Social media apps have caused harm to minors, yet due to their convenience and widespread use, they have faced little to no consequences. Bitchat hasn't been approved yet, but even as a joke, if people simply enjoy using it, that enjoyment could raise expectations, lead to increased recognition, and eventually result in its release.

What if every nostr client was a BLE router .. if my packet hits someone with nostr client ..book my packet reaches the nostr npub .. via relays ..

Have you tried ngit yet?

So it will be availble as a repo too (https://nostrhub.io/repositories for example)

Would love to see bitchat over LoRa... A la Meshtastic. Hyper-Resiliant!

nostr:npub18v9t6wadlqh338muy7hguu0lx6j3vtk6hh6u8a6ju5mugpf662aqv6t8gn - where does your Bluetooth project patent you donated to the public, you were telling me about in Feb fits in here? It sounded pretty much exactly like this from what I recall?!

Watching Jack build a peer-to-peer chat app in a weekend—with intention, humility, and curiosity—is a powerful reminder of what this moment is really about.

Not just new protocols.

Not just decentralization.

But reclaiming the raw, beautiful possibility of the internet.

Side group chats in classrooms. Airplanes. Town squares.

Anonymous, local, human.

It’s not nostalgia—it’s a vision for reconnection in a world that’s been optimized into silence.

As AI reshapes how we build, may we remember why we build:

To speak freely. To stay close. To belong again.

Props to those still dreaming in public.

We need you.

We need this.

Yeah, this is cool. I’m a student at the moment and it’s all phone numbers and WhatsApp in classroom right now
