I've thought photo and video forensics skills were vital but lacking since years before ai was admitted to exist, but my limited experience is that even judges accept all photos as authentic unless a rare lawyer understands, even if printed from home. Start talking about forensic analysis outside of Law and Order narratives and eyes glaze over. That said, good of you to be skeptical, there are analysis tools available for free.
